I designed a concept System and an Application Prototype called ARFit. It is an Augmented Reality based application which uses Lidar sensing and Image recognition to superimpose apparels as 3D objects on users in real-time. This facilitates the users to purchase the right size and fitting while shopping clothes online. Apparel brands lose billions of dollars annually from product returns related to incorrect size, ARFit can resolve this problem by enabling the customers to virtually try-on the products before making a purchase decision.
